Basic Review of What Happens in a Wrestling Match

First year parents might not know what to expect at a wrestling tournament. So I'll try to explain what goes on at a wrestling tournament or dual meet.

The two wrestlers put on ankle bands - one Green and one Red. If it is a dual meet, the wrestlers will not usually wear ankle bands. At a dual meet, the home team is green and the visiting team is red.

Photos in Large Newspapers

Photos of mine will appear in the Chicago Reader (about 120,000 circulation) and Win Magazine (national wrestling magazine). I have only seen the pdf version of the article in the Chicago Reader. There is a large photo of Jake Herbert. There may be additional photos of Tamillow and Fox in the paper copies of the newspaper.

Also, IHSA wrestling fans, there will be photos of White, Hutter, and Morgan in Win Magazine. Along with a picture of Tamillow from the NU meet.

Thousands of people have visited my photos. While WrestlingGear.Com has covered 100% of the costs, it can no longer cover all of the costs. If you like the photos and like to see action from some of the top high school and college wrestling in the state, consider Clicking Here to visit IllinoisWrestling.Com and Clicking on Donate.
