Would you Buy a Red or Blue Adidas Shoe?

Would you buy an adidas wrestling shoe at the entry level price about $43 or $37 for a youth shoe? I would have like to see them make a royal blue and a red shoe. What do you think? Leave your comments.

Get in the Wheelbarrow!

This is an article that Bill Scherr's posted on his blog. His blog is linked on the left side. Check his blog often... Get in the Wheelbarrow! By William Scherr Nov. 10, 2005 My wrestling career was successful by most measures. I won National and International Championships at almost every level. Not a single day goes by, however, that I do not look back with regret because I realize that I could have been better and done more if I would have been fully committed to my sport. Could I have won the Olympics if I was not taking graduate school classes at the same time? Should I have been living in the same city as my brother and training with him every day? Could I have been more thorough in my approach to lifting weights and nutrition? The list of questions goes on and on and the answer to most of them leaves me wondering. What could I have accomplished if I was fully committed?

Cutting Weight, the Dark Side of Wrestling

Cutting Weight, the Dark Side of Wrestling

Bloged in News and Information, Locked and Loaded by Randy Lewis Wednesday November 2, 2005 Cutting weight, the dark side of wrestling. Almost everyone who has ever wrestled, with the exception of some heavyweights, has had to cut weight at some point in their careers. Many wrestlers, at all levels, have at times cut way more than they should have. At times in my career, I also fell into this category. Most wrestlers have their own “weight cutting stories,” and in this article I will regale you with a few of my own.

Peaking at the Right Time

Peaking at the Right Time By Carol and Patrick Milkovich 2x NCAA Champion and Distinguished Member of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame ADVIICE FROM A CHAMPIION February 15, 2003 - Wrestling U.S.A. Magazine It's February, and it's been a long season. For some, it's been too long, but for others, not long enough. This is the time of year when some wrestlers can't wait for the season to end. They are tired of cutting weight, of long practices, and of never-ending tournaments. For others, this the crucial time. Every year, you get one chance to be the best at what you do, and now is the time to concentrate all your efforts on peaking at the right time. All year long, you have been putting yourself into a position to be able to reach your peak when it really counts.
