Buyer Beware

Here are a couple things I would be careful of...there are a lot of scams out there here are a few of them I'd look for:

1) Sprint Broadband claims rates 2 to 5 times as fast as actual rates I experienced. They say in Schaumburg Il that I should be in ranges much faster then I am actually experiencing...try and call customer service to ask about them it was 12 minutes before I just hung up. Plus the broadband card constantly looses its connection. No way would I recommend this card...just be sure if you get it you test it out in the different locations you need to use it. It will probably work fine for emergency situations, but not as a replacement for your home internet connection.

2) When does 1% equal 8%, well it does if you use a Chase credit card offer. They used to always have caps of $75 on the transaction. Read the fine print, now there are offers with no caps. Say you have a $13,000 line you access for a balance transfer and don't read the fine print, you'll pay .99% from day one and get charged approx $390 in a transaction fee up front. It's actually worse then 8% because you pay that interest up front...the offer is only good for 5 months...so the .99% interest rate for 5 months is actually over 8%.

3) Make sure you check your checks to see what amount they cleared for. Bank of America took approx $20,000 out of my account for an approx $200 check. Been on the phone with them for a month each time I call its about an hour conversation. And, they keep telling me the same thing, the check cleared for $200 not $20,000. I have a call into the office of the President of Bank of America (they actually called me back and left a voice mail). I have been with MBNA for over 12 years (BOA bought MBNA recently).  The good thing is Chase, my checking account bank, gave me my money back while they talk to BOA, but BOA has put $20,000 back on my card so I  have lost the use of this credit card...

Buyer beware...
